But I could watch a movie!
“But I could watch a movie…” this is the excuse that most of us give ourselves at the thought of going out to clubs alone. It’s true, you can watch a movie instead but don’t you think watching movies every night (whenever you are free) is going to turn out to be boring? Of course it will! This is a very lame excuse - how can you compare the fun you will have when clubbing to the “fun” of watching a movie? If you really want to go out and have a great night on your own then you have to be determined. Giving silly excuses won’t help if you really want to try going to a club alone.
You know for sure you’re not going to have fun this way
If you are single and you are ready to mingle, then you shouldn’t hesitate to hang out in a club or a bar on your own. There’s absolutely no reason for you to shy away from the social scene just because you have no friends to accompany you to your favorite bar or club. Don’t make any more excuses to yourself about watching a movie instead of going out on your own. OK your friends are unavailable, so what? Why do you think that you absolutely need them to have fun? You know FOR SURE that if you stay home you’ll not enjoy your time, so you can at least TRY to go out and who knows, maybe it’s your lucky day.
This is what you can do instead
This is what i sometimes do, and it works. If I want to go to a club, but I am not really sure if I should go, I make sure that I wear my night clothes right after my shower, even if I don’t feel like going out. The reason you should do this is that you’ll end up going out in the end, because you will tell yourself that you are already dressed for the night and there is no point staying at home. I don’t know why, but this always motivates me to go out. Maybe it’s because it feels pathetic to stay in your house with your night clothes, without doing anything. Once you go clubbing alone, you’ll start to get used to the idea and after going out by yourself for several times, you’ll be very relaxed and do it like a “walk in the park”.
So what are you waiting for? Start planning your evening even if you
have to push yourself to go out. Trust me, you will not regret it!
